6mm x 1m: perfect for brickwork repairs, reinforcing and crack stitch repairs

Helical bar (also known as helibar, helifix bars or helical wire) are most commonly used in helibar crack stitching to reinforce cracked brickwork. Our 6mm bar — also referred to as a 6mm reinforcing bar — is the most popular size for standard bed joint repairs. However, they are super versatile and have a wide range of uses — from masonry beaming, window lintel repairs and many more.

At Strucsol we provide the highest grade 6mm reinforcing bar — manufactured in the UK out of 304 CU Austenitic stainless steel, unlike lower grade alternatives manufactured from ferritic stainless steel. This means that it has high linear strength and corrosion resistance allowing for consistent maximum bond strength gain when paired with the grout or resin bonding adhesive.

• We recommend the use of Strucsol HS grout for bonding wires in Lime mortar, brick or stone walls where the slower curing times assist in gaining clean installation.
• We recommend the use of Strucsol E.A.S.F resin, when immediate full bond strength is required.
