Timber Frame Wall Ties (100 pcs)

The Strucsol timber frame wall tie is available in lengths to suit cavity up to 300mm wide.

How to install

The tie is easily installed using a hand held support tool- available here

It is cut to length to ensure consistent penetration into the inner timber frame and the protruding section of the tie is then bonded into the mortar of the brickwork.

The Unique high fin profile of the timber frame tie ensures maximum pull out strength - easily exceeding minimum performance requirements even in the poorest quality timber. The small cross sectional area also ensures minimal heat loss through the insulating material. The tie will be provided with an insulation support disk, designed to hold the insulation firm against the timber frame and leaving the open part of the cavity clear and unbridged.

If you're buying the kit for DIY use, make sure you have the right application gun—I skipped it and later found mine wasn't big enough, luckily my neighbour had one. Also, be sure to read the instructions carefully, as the resin sets very quickly.
