A hand support tool for holding the tie whilst driving the tie into the timber frame.

Simply cut the tool to length using a hacksaw, ensuring the amount of tie required to achieve minimum embedment is protruding from the tool (usually 70mm).

Offer the tool with tie inserted into the timber frame (ideally the tool should be resting on the horizontal surface of the brick) and hammer the tie into the frame by striking the hardened end of the installation tool with a hammer.

Drive the tie into the wall until the hilt of the tool is touching the outer face of the timber frame.

Friendly advice brilliant product great prices. If you buy the kit for diy then make sure you have the gun, I declined it only to find mine were not big enough, luckily neighbour had one.

Make sure you read the instructions as the resin sets really fast.
