Safeseal: a liquid damp proof membrane for walls and a viable tanking membrane solution

This liquid damp proof membrane is a damp proof and gas proof membrane made from SBR latex polymer. It creates a seamless barrier against water and ground gases like radon by acting as a waterproof coating.

Uses

• Can be used outside as damp seal paint for dampness or below-surface waterproofing, when applied beneath a render or screed finish.
• Damp proof membrane under floor.
• DPC paint as part of a cementitious tanking membrane.
• Damp proof coating to cellar walls and floors.
• Gas proof membrane to walls and floors in active radon gas areas.
• As a liquid DPC as part of a tanking system in cementitious pond linings.
• As a liquid DPM for concrete floors.

How to apply liquid DPM

Apply by brush, spray or roller in one or two coats, depending on the surface. Wait until touch dry before applying a second coat of DPM liquid.

NOTE: should be applied to dust-free surfaces with as little residual moisture as possible to ensure the highest adhesion.

Coverage

Two-coat application: 1 square metre per litre when applied by brush or roller.

This product contains 5 litres of your chosen colour of DPM.

Safeseal DPM is supplied ready to use and should not be diluted.
