Lateral Restraint Tie / BowTie 8mm Diameter

A stainless steel Lateral Restraint Tie (also known as Bow Ties) for locking external walls deep into the web of the internal floor joists to resist outward movement of the wall. The LRT is installed from the outside of the building through a 14mm pilot hole and the tie is screwed through the side grain of the internal floor joists in the void between the underside of the floor boards and ceiling below..
