Professional-Grade Crack Stitching Kit for Brickwork & Masonry | Easy DIY or Contractor Use
Our brick stitching kit contains:
Additional extras such as mortar raking blades and pointing trowels and helical bar tools can be added on to your order if needed- see the add on box when adding to basket
Struggling with cracks in brickwork, masonry, or concrete? Our crack stitching kit is the ultimate solution for repairing vertical, horizontal, or stepped cracks in walls, arches, and foundations. Using high-strength crack stitching bars and rapid-set resin, this crack stitching kit delivers a permanent structural repair. Ideal for homeowners, DIYers, and builders alike.
This wall stitching kit includes everything you need (barring a few extras such as mortar raking blades and pointing trowels, as most people usually already have these; however, you can easily add these to your order if you wish via the add-ons box!) to repair approximately 10 meters of cracking (coverage depends on bed joint thickness). Whether you're restoring a heritage building, modern property, or garden wall, our Helibar stitching and resin system ensures a strong and visually discreet repair.
Unlike lower-grade alternatives, our crack stitching bars (similar to helifix crack stitching bars) are UK-manufactured from 304 CU Austenitic stainless steel, ensuring high linear strength and exceptional corrosion resistance. Perfect for coastal properties or high-salinity environments where inferior materials may fail.
Most helical bar kits use 300ml resin cartridges, which often struggle to push thicker resins due to weak applicator guns. Our 400ml cartridges and heavy-duty gun eliminate this issue, making application smoother and more efficient. For best results in cold weather, warm the resin in hot water for 15 minutes before use. With proper care, the gun will last for many future projects.
The helical bars bars in our crack stitch kit blend seamlessly into your masonry when bound with the resin and repointed with matching mortar over the top, ensuring a clean and almost invisible finish: ideal for listed buildings, heritage properties, and modern homes where aesthetics matter.

Prepare the Crack
Rake out the mortar joint to allow for 500mm spacing either side of the crack for the bar to slot into. Make sure to remove as much dust from the slot as possible using either an industrial vacuum or one of our manual dust blower pumps. If possible, dampen the slot with water, as this helps the resin bind to the surroundings better.
Install Helical Bars
Apply a bead of the resin (make sure to discard the first 10ml of the tube, as this won't be fully mixed) along the full width of the back of the slot, and insert the stainless steel crack stitching bars into this resin using one of our pointing trowels, followed by another bead of resin over the top of the bar.
Finish & Inspect
Smooth the resin over with the pointing tool, allow 10 minutes for the resin to set, and you can now begin preparing to repoint mortar over the top of the resin.
Our brick stitching kit is ideal for:
Don’t let cracks compromise the safety or appearance of your property. Our crack stitch repair kit offers a permanent, cost-effective solution. Order now and restore your structure with confidence!
Our helical bar is manufactured in the UK out of 304 CU Austenitic stainless steel, unlike lower grade alternatives manufactured from ferritic stainless steel. This means that it has high linear strength and corrosion resistance allowing for consistent maximum bond strength gain when paired with the grout or resin bonding adhesive. Strucsol helical bar can be used with great confidence and durability in areas of high salinity such as coastal properties without fear of corrosion or fatigue failure.
Full technical and design support supplied with product- if you send us a photo of the problem area we will overlay the repair specification onto the photo and recommend required products (see sample method statement in Photos)
Why not add a mortar raking blade to your order? These are essential for raking out your bed joints- or click the box above to include this in your order.
