Metoset Extreme is a mouldable epoxy-based repair adhesive, free of solvents suitable for repairs in all kinds of situations.

It forms a powerful, high-viscosity bond suitable for vertical and overhead repairs. With minimal shrinkage, it is ideal for large-scale repairs, and offers durability in high-traffic areas.

Resistant to moisture and chemicals, it can be applied on wet surfaces. Once cured, it demonstrates excellent mechanical properties and adheres strongly to various

building materials such as glass, wood, concrete, metals, brick, and stone.

Preparation

Prior to application all substrates must ideally be sound, clean and free from damp, dust and debris wherever possible. Smooth or coated surfaces including metals should be abraded where possible.

When using as a bonding adhesive, on all surfaces, work the mixed product well into the substrate and ensure bonding takes place while the resin is still mobile and tacky. The components should be supported during curing to eliminate any potential slippage.

Instructions

Remove the dish lid. Mix equal amounts of the resin B hardener components together, either by mixing the entire dish lid contents into the container, or by equal parts measured out separately by weight/volume. Thorough mixing prior to use is critical. An even colour and consistency in the mix should be achieved throughout. Mixing is best carried out on a smooth clean board using a wide bladed scraper. Apply by trowel, spatula or scraper with a minimum thickness of 1mm.

Do not use the product below 10°C, Lower temperatures will retard the gel and cure time. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep in an original container. Shelf life is 24 months from the manufacture date.
